Providing Traditional and Contemporary Music for the Ipswich and Greater South-East Queensland Area.

RAAF Amberley Brass is a modern brass band proudly based in the Ipswich area.

We are based at RAAF Amberley, and are a mix of serving Air Force members, defence contractors, retired Air Force, Army and Navy personnel, spouses and dependents of serving members as well as civilian members from the local community.

The band supports local community events, and is available for hire.

We rehearse every Monday evening, at the RAAF Amberley Base, from 1930 to 2130. New members and visitors are welcome, please contact us to arrange access to the Base.

Amberley Brass Ensemble

Several senior, mostly retired members of the Amberley Brass Band have formed a small Ensemble  under the leadership of Bryan Downey. The Ensemble provides band music by invitation to Community Groups including retirement villages, nursing homes and groups cellebrating special occasions; most bookings are for mid week events.
